Ranchers continually look for new ways to strengthen their stewardship of the land. This free webinar brings together ranchers and conservation experts to explore how working rangelands can support the wildlife that thrive in the Northern Great Plains.

Join us on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time for a presentation from Jon Soper and Chelsea Forehead of the Natural Heritage Program with Nebraska Game and Parks. They will introduce participants to the prairie orchid species—plants with an incredibly delicate life cycle that depend on active, thoughtful management to survive. They will be joined by Jory Geiser, a Western Nebraska Landowner, who will share about management of orchids on his ranch. Because most prairie orchids occur on private lands, this webinar offers a unique opportunity for ranchers to better understand how their land management decisions can support these rare species.
